Julius-Kühn-Archiv
The Julius-Kühn-Archiv is a monographic series on different subjects from the present research of the JKI. Today it mainly publishes proceedings of conferences of the JKI, but offers scientists also a format for publishing a more voluminous manuscript in a special issue.
It is available as printed edition and as free online journal. The latter is made available through the JKI Open Journal System (http://www.pub.jki.bund.de).

History
The Julius-Kühn-Archiv is successor to several scientific bulletins and thus continues a tradition that started with the first issue in 1906.
Journal titles of predecessors are:
- „Mitteilungen aus dem Julius Kühn-Institut" (414.2008 - 420.2008)
- „Mitteilungen aus der Biologischen Bundesanstalt für Land- und Forstwirtschaft“ and predecessors (1.1906 - 413.2007)
- "Beiträge zur Züchtungsforschung" (1.1995 - 8.2002)
