History
The "Journal für Kulturpflanzen - Journal of Cultivated Plants" first appeared under its present title in 2009, but continues the Nachrichtenblatt des Deutschen Pflanzenschutzdienstes (translated: Communications from the German Plant Protection Services), founded in the 1920s. While its predecessor was specialized in crop protection reports, the present journal encompasses a by far wider range of topics.
