The Informationsdienst praxisbezogener Literatur im Weinbau is published quarterly and provides a survey of German-language journal articles focussing on practice-oriented vine growing.
The topics covered are morphology, physiology and biochemistry of grapevine, soil science, genetics, grapevine breeding, phytopathology and plant protection in viticulture, winemaking, vineyard management, oenology, and microbiology of wine.
The literature information service of viticulture is provided by the JKI Institute for Grapevine Breeding and sponsored by the state of Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate).
