Library of the Julius Kühn Institute

The library of the Julius Kühn Institute is a science library with limited public access.
The library caters for the information needs of the JKI scientific staff and holds collections in our core areas of research, which include

• plant pathology, plant protection, plant health, plant breeding, plant cultivation, plant  nutrition, soil sciences, plant genetics, mycology, nematology, entomology, and associated sciences.

Services:

• acquisition of literature and information
• lending service for own stocks, and interlibrary loan
• support in literature search and information retrieval

Without having to leave their desks, scientists can search the complete catalogue and  several literature databases and, moreover, directly access articles from more than 2,000 electronic journals.

Contact and opening hours:

The library is situated in four locations: Quedlinburg, Braunschweig, Berlin, Kleinmachnow. Since public access is limited, external users should contact our staff and arrange their visits in advance.
